May. 13th, 2004 12:35 pmOn the occasion of the third anniversary of the death of Douglas Adams (Tuesday, in case you had forgotten) the cast and crew of the Hitchhiker's movie got together and took a picture. At least, that's what I was told they did. I visited the film's official site and was greeted with a Flash gateway page. It's the Earth with a big red button underneath. It said "Please don't push this button." I pushed it. Then it said "YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!" So I pushed it again.
And a big-ass Netflix pop-up then took over my monitor.

Or perhaps you were suggesting, with a hefty little dose of rhetoric, that people find browsers which can be customized to ignore certain bits of code, like pop-ups and pop-unders and the like?
