Monitor cables that have already gone on the fritz (losing reds or blues every time a truck goes by and vibrates the very particles of time and space around the cable, f'rinstance) really don't like it when you repeatedly call them "worthless pieces of trash." They may go so far as to break themselves completely after you've jiggled them around in the monitor socket for the last time.

Now I have to use a little 14" monitor which refuses to go above 640x480 and thinks 256 colors is some kind of crazy space-age notion that will never happen in our lifetimes.

Anybody got a spare 14-pin monitor cable that would love the chance to let me get back to my high-resolution 32-bit color days again?
