Freaks & Geeks: 15 episodes aired.
Wonderfalls: 4 episodes aired.
Everybody Loves Raymond: 200th episode airs Monday night.

There is a God, but he's written off television entirely.

Firefly--13 episodes made, 11 aired.
The Handler--16 episodes made, 14 aired.

It actually sort of weirds me out that CSI is so popular, but the fact that its spinoffs are, also, and I don't like them reassures me that I must not be liking what other people like about the original.

I'll call your Freaks & Geeks and raise you a Shannon's Deal and a Doctor, Doctor.

I actually have a hard time disliking Everybody Loves Raymond. I enjoyed Brad Garrett's standup when I'd see him on such as Evening at the Improv. And Peter "PUTTN ONNA RIIIIITZ!" Boyle classes up the proceedings a bit, too.

Huh ...

Well, I, for one, think "Raymond" is a great show ... old-fashioned sitcom in the "Honeymooners"/"Dick Van Dyke" mode, which has never had to go into absurdity for laughs.

On the other hand, "According to Jim" is pushing the century mark, and it seems ot be easier to find syndicated reruns of "Becker" than it is to find "NewsRadio," so, yes, things suck.

Firefly is another good example, listed above.

I really want to buy the Wonderfalls dvd set when it comes out. It was supposed to be out before christmas, but got pushed back to Feb 2005.

And yet, Arrested Development was picked up for a second season. God works in mysterious ways, ours not to understand, only to praise.

Lesser-known but still disappointing...

I loved "Mission Hill" on Adult Swim (was it originally on a network or something?)

Ballykissangel was a great show that I would have liked to see continue.

And there was a quirky British teen drama called 24Seven that I shamefully admit to enjoying.
