I wonder why the Krispy Kreme story got reported the way it did, since CEOs of most big (and failing) corporations make way more than $1.5 million a year (the sidebar of this article puts the median CEO salary in 2002 at $1,017 per hour). I think it's all pretty damn absurd, but I wonder why the hourly breakdown for this particular CEO.
