Just a few observations, completely unrelated to this whole Supreme Court bombshell and brouhaha. I swear.

1. Why does the South Station Red Line complex smell like a pet store? And I don't just mean for today, I mean like all the time. Are they storing hamsters and gerbils somewhere? Are these hamsters and gerbils peeing prodigiously into copious amounts of cedar shavings? (Or is it just because the Silver Line stinks? Tee hee hee.)

2. While walking thru the Wharf District today I passed by a classy-lookin Chrysler 300M. You know, one of them fancy-schmancy vee-hickuls what with the shiny shiny finish and the vroomy vroomy engine and all that stuff. There was a placard on the dashboard reading "City Elevator Inspector". Must've been making the rounds somewhere. I don't know about you but I'm heartened to know that Boston pays its civil servants well.

3. I'm sure there was a #3 somewhere, but to hell with it. I'm posting!
