There is a new toy coming my way.
I have much hope.
I had my heart set on the EOS 350D, because more than anything I'd love an SLR again. My first love, my dear, sweet Pentax K1000, waits in silent slumber downstairs with bustificated 28-80mm lens. I haven't used it in over 7 years now. I want to fix it right and play with it again, only film and processing has gotten so sadly expensive and I have nowhere to build a darkroom (Abbie is currently eating and pooping in What Could Be A Darkroom For Midgets Or Spatches Who Like To Hunch Over A Lot -- actually, that place leaks light like a goddamn sieve and I don't have the patience to seal it off from the inside.)
But I can't afford a Rebel and buy a new lens at the same time. Besides, I don't know what I'm gonna do with 6 megapixels, much less 8, so the new PowerShot it is.
I cannot wait to take it to a place where they have roller coasters.
