Spatch's Two-Line Film Review

Because it's too late to write up what I thought fully:

Go see Cars.
I saw it twice tonight.

FIVE YEARS AHEAD OF THE TREND, SUCK IT EBERT

I'm beginning to have my worries about Roger "Three Stars" Ebert. He's channelling Garfield the cat for his latest review (of the Garfield sequel.) It's cute, but ... well, weird. Really weird. As in "wait, what" weird. And he includes some odd, odd, odd bits -- the conceit here being that Garfield's role in the movie involved acting and impersonating celebrity voices as well:

I do the voice of Tim Curry, an actor I have admired ever since Jon took me to a drive-in to see "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" while he smoked human catnip.

That's all I'm gonna say about that because any other reply will necessitate the posting of a picture of a very incredulous owl.

rocky horror at a drive-in? doesn't that defeat the purpose?

COEUR D'ALENE — The owners of a roller skating rink have fired an 18-year-old woman they called one of their "Top 10" employees because she moved in with her boyfriend, violating a company ethics policy that prohibits "live-in relationships of an intimate nature."
