Actually, it's true. If they show a "Diff'rent Strokes" episode, then any of the other candidates could easily ask for a half-hour of television time. And they'd probably win in court.

Even though Coleman saying "Whatchoo talkin' bout, Willis?" doesn't really have much of an impact on his economic policy ideas.

On Los Angeles radio this week, I heard an interview George Takei, an active opponent of the equal-time rule. When an LA station played a Star Trek rerun in 1973, all of his opponents got an amount of free campaign time on that station equal to the amount of time Sulu spent saying "Yes, Captain."
