Sep. 3rd, 2003 01:12 pmTrash day is usually Tuesday morning. You know, the day after Monday. Well, this Monday was a holiday, so apparently it means that the trash collection is bumped ahead a day, though I'm not sure what happens on Friday.
Only September 1 was a Monday this year, and that's traditionally the biggest moving day around these parts, what with so many colleges and all. So there was tons of trash already dumped out on the sidewalks by Monday evening. Other confused citizens decided to just leave their trash out Monday night too, you know, just to be safe.
Tuesday morning came and went and the trash was not picked up. I guess that means that yeah, trash pickup was bumped ahead one day. Only now it's nearly 1:15 Wednesday afternoon and when I looked out the window, everybody's trash is still lying out on the curb. It'll almost be two days now.
I think our neighborhood just got PUNK'D!
