[livejournal.com profile] mcsnee reminded me of this, but the 3 leading news stories on WBZ radio this morning when I woke up were:

1. Cheney shoots huntin' buddy
2. Peter Benchley dead
3. Red Sox equipment truck leaves for Ft. Myers

It's painfully clear to me, unfortunately, that this city's news teams are slowly but surely losing sight of their priorities. I should've heard the Sox truck lead first, LaPierre, you hear me? FIRST!

I swear to God I am so sick of how everything revolves only around the Pats and Sox as if they were only two teams in this city. And you know how much I love the both of them. It's fucking lazy journalism.

Cheney is just hungry for more human flesh to feed on.

As a big hockey and soccer fan, you'll forgive me if I feel my teams are slightly under-reported. :)

-Thanks!

nevermind the kid who ... what was it? lived in babe ruth's house and caught a ball and therefore broke the curse? something like that.

that was front page news, too.

If Dick Cheney attacked David Wells with a great white shark, I think that would be news worthy of the front page.

Especially since Cheney chased Wells around the infield while singing the Jaws theme song carrying the shark like a baby. A bad reaction to heart medication or something like that.

Well, he caught the ball with his FACE and broke several teeth. Supposedly that symbolized the Red Sox... umm... punching out Babe Ruth's teeth or... something... I don't know.
