Though to be fair, it's worth pointing out that all the composite nationalities of the British Isles are notorious for (1) drinking in vast quantities and (2) getting into fights, the second generally connected to the first. The exception is the Welsh, evidently, the only Celts with a historical preference for sex over booze. (Unless the pattern holds in Brittany and Galicia in Spain, which I do not know.)
