Ditto all of the HOLY SHIT and HOLY CRAP responses - glad they didn't assume you had a gun and start firing - can't imagine how incredibly freaked out you must be! Hope the poor cat recovers from all of that (mine would be hiding under the covers for a week. And I'd probably be with her for a few days.)
