there's a burger king near my house that only has ONE LINE for their sign. and by "one line" I really mean "ten spaces" for their ENTIRE MESSAGE.
Thus, the only information you get is "SPIDERMAN" OR "CHKN SDWCH". It is completely hilarious and I keep meaning to take pictures. It's been like this for YEARS, too!

probably true. (actually - such as? I could TOTALLY pull this off; the sign isn't very high and isn't lit up at night).

mostly it's just the condensed, almost zen-like quality that the announcements have. it's more bizarre than amusing. I dont think I've ever seen anything silly on it, though.

Unfortunately, I don't think it says SPIDERMAN right now. Last time I drove by, it did say CHKN SDWCH or whatever. The lack of vowels makes it hard to do anything with.

My local Hastings' sign said "XMEN PRODUCT HERE" when the movie came out a few months back. Had lots more room on the sign. But then that says it all.
