You can still go on the carousel at Glen Echo (it's a Dentzel, and about 100 years old, IIRC: the horses are adult-sized.) There's still a bumper car pavilion, where they hold art shows, and last I checked you could still see the shooting galleries being eaten by weeds. The pool is there, and currently inhabited by trees. There's a building containing what's now known as the Spanish Ballroom, where dances are still held (well, will be held again, once remodelling is over.) There are several nonprofits that work out of that space, including a kids' puppet company and a kids' threatre company. There are also several artists-in-residence, all of whom teach classes. It's the only place in the area where you can learn to do glassblowing.
