There are ads all over the T for "New Passion Pink Venus Lady Leg Shaver Thingies" from Gillette.

Now, I ask you, those of you who shave your legs:
Is color really a deciding factor in buying a razor?
Cos it seems rather, well, like an insult.

Well, I don't really look at colors. Prices on the other hand... jesus. You want HOW much for a disposable razor? Fergeddit.

I don't shave my legs, but I do shave other bits (to stop the piercings getting all tangled up, you see). Colour is definitely a deciding factor for me - I will *not* buy a pink razor.

Personally, I find the whole Venus ad campaign horribly offensive anyway...I hate ad campaigns that try to be all Cosmo-style girl power-y. Ick. They're almost as bad as those Herbal Essences commercials.

Ugh.

I admit that I caved sometime last year and bought the freaking Venus razor during a period of disenchantment with my crapass disposables, but I will NOT be purchasing a new one now that it's Barbie/labia pink. Meh.
