A new helpfile has been added regarding Weird> that includes a change in the policy regarding the Weird forum.
Please familiarize yourself with this policy, most importantly the first paragraph as this applies to all users whether they are members of Weird> or not.
Weird> is an all-anonymous blackhole forum. In order to enforce the blackhole nature of Weird>, all Weird> posts, real or fake, are off-topic throughout ISCABBS.
To gain access to Weird> all users must agree to a waiver. Once you have read the waiver and wish to be admitted to the forum, please (Y)ell requesting access and state that you have read and agree to the waiver.
The following is the waiver:
Thank you for requesting admission to Weird>. In order to be admitted, you must agree to all of the non-negotiable conditions below.
* Weird> is a blackhole forum -- information posted there may not be reposted anywhere on ISCA.
* The following content will be deleted: threats (immediate permanent kickout), personal attacks, extended bickerfests, and graphic sexual content. A user will be permanently removed from Weird> upon second kickout.
* There are no appeals to Sysops or the Review Board for sanctions associated with Weird>. Exceptions to this rule pertain to current UI students only, per ISCABBS Policy Section 8, Item 3 (elp, "Policy").
* All rights to complain about the content of Weird> are completely waived. Discussing specific sanctions in Weird> is completely off-topic in Administrative Issues> as well as all other fora. You are welcome to Yell> comments and concerns. However, complaints about specific posts will be responded to with a copy of your agreement to these conditions.
By agreeing to these conditions, you have decided to enter Weird> on your own accord and you are free to ap it at any time. If you agree to abide by all these conditions, please reply to this message indicating your agreement.
Sample: I agree to all conditions to be invited to Weird>.
You will then be invited into the forum. If you do not concur, you will not be admitted. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask, via Yells>.
