This here's the Greatest Crossover in Recorded History1:

Boss Hogg and Enos guest star on Alice. What happens when you take Boss Hogg out of his own little television world and place him in a three camera sitcom with a laugh track? Well, here's where you find out.

Part 1
Part 2

All the requirements of a Great Sitcom Crossover are here. See how many you can count, and keep in mind I may be using a different definition of the word "great" than you are familiar with.

And here's to the men and women of genius who made the formulaic sitcom storyline a true artform2.

1. I may be exaggerating slightly here.
2. And here as well.

Completely throws off the continuity of the Flo/Enos crossover of 1980.

But that Alice... she may have only had six lines, but she sure saved the day!

I can't watch those episodes of M*A*S*H with Sorrell Booke as a guest star because I keep waiting for Boss Hogg to go after Hawkeye and Trapper and their still.

Great, now you've got me picturing Loretta Swit in short shorts and a bikini top.

Does that bring any of those shows into the Tommyverse?

Oh man... I think I remeber this when it aired. It was quite surreal, if I remember... and I recall thinking at the time that it didn't work for me having Enos arrive with Boss Hogg... Sheriff Coltree would have been better... but he wasn't one of the star draws.

(FWIW, I'm commenting before viewing the clips)

So this means that Boss Hogg only exists in Tommy Westphal's head, right?
