I can't watch those episodes of M*A*S*H with Sorrell Booke as a guest star because I keep waiting for Boss Hogg to go after Hawkeye and Trapper and their still.

Thanks to YouTube I was also able to catch the different renditions of the theme song, going all-all-the-way lounge act-ish near Season 3. Listening to Linda Lavin really sell the song (with breaths!) is admirable and hilarious all at the same time.

Now about this time the Swamp boys was sure down on their luck, what with Frank Burns comin' up on their left and Boss Hogg comin' down on their right... and in that situation, there ain't no direction I could give 'em.

Oh man... I think I remeber this when it aired. It was quite surreal, if I remember... and I recall thinking at the time that it didn't work for me having Enos arrive with Boss Hogg... Sheriff Coltree would have been better... but he wasn't one of the star draws.
