spatchHadn't seen this one yet, but then again, I don't think I've browsed much around vbs.tv. I do know that you should press the "Skip Ad" button if it pops up in the proprietary viewer before the video. The ad I kept running into wasn't exactly made for dinnertime viewing.
At any rate, this here is a documentary of sorts in 14 parts featuring two Americans who decided it'd be a good idea to visit North Korea and shoot surrepititious video footage with a regular ol' digital camera. You can probably guess that since it's finished they make it out all right, but there's still plenty of narrative tension to go around and certain points where they're apparently told they could be arrested for Dishonoring The Great Leader and whatnot. (PROTIP: When you have your picture taken in front of a mural featuring Kim Jong Il, do not stand in front of or in any way block the image of the Great Leader. Otherwise your government-assigned guides and guards will get Very Cross with you.)
It's all just bizarre. Especially the part where 120,000 people put on a performance for what looks to be less than 500 spectators. It is all absolutely fascinating and worth a look-see.
The interstitial ads and You Tube-esque mouthbreather comments, on the other hand, are worth ignoring outright.
