Into the 60s now. The comments are smarter than I thought they'd be and I've yet to fall totally into the "I like this / I like that / I like pie" trap. It's like DVD commentary only bold and in #993300 and with numerous references to ifMUD. I forgot how that place was such a complete influence during my days writing the comic. And I can't even figure out why I left in the first place.

What's unsettling are the references to "my girlfriend at the time" but, honestly, Jen was a big influence too. She just keeps popping up through these annotations so I have to make reference somehow. It's the first time I've really written the newfound designation out, and I guess it's better than "Ex." I don't like the phrase "my ex" with or without the capital E. But it happens, and you adjust to it, and it becomes easier as time goes by.

But god damn. Reading some of the writing in the strips convinces me that I somehow got ahold of a big jar of comic genius and was spreading it all over the place. Maybe someday I'll capture that again.
