Frank Cyrano stopped by tonight and demanded he get his picture taken in my bathroom. Unable to refuse a simple request from a simple radio personality, I gave him a camera and told him to do it his damn self. So apparently he did.



He'll be appearing live on WPM Radio this Thursday, Friday and Saturday with all his pals: the sardonic Amelia Adams, the happy-go-lucky bandleader Lex Concord, rich baritone announcer Charley Kendall, the sweetly daffy vocalist Jenny Brennan, and the colorful gang of regulars over at the Hub of the Universe Chowderhouse. Frank keeps telling me Bela Lugosi is also going to show up, but as Amelia always says, we'll believe it when we see it.

David at JJ really came through. Very interesting talking 1970s film nihilism while getting a 1930s cut, and the wave he put in after slicking it back looked great. I love JJ - they never steer me wrong. I'm glad it'll be easy to recreate - I've had some of the lovely cast ladies at my place for a couple evenings of "how to do vintage hair" show-and-tells that will hopefully prove useful. :)

We're working on a regular podcast schedule, which would mean regular programs (not such a bad thing.) Right now there's samples of the live stuff up online but not very well publicized; Red Shift's adventure Havoc over Holowood from the live Arisia 2008 production is up, more or less. I can't wait to release the studio episodes, though.
