I broke down and took the taxi. Didn't even get to the jetway before 12:30.
Everything was fine and expeditious once I told the driver he didn't have to take I-90 up to Cambridge, and he didn't have to take Storrow; 93 to the Sullivan Square exit and up thru Union Square would do just nicely.
