Very loosely influenced, yes. If you know "Fine Horseman", you'll definitely recognize a couple of the harmonic intervals in one of the pieces. Some of the other stuff in the blog post has been jettisoned, and a few other things added--such are the risks of blogging about a score while it's still being written--but "Fine Horseman" is still there.
