FUN FACT: The VW Bug used to have California license plates, which pretty much sums up Seattle's feelings for their neighbor two states down. :)

Also inside is some kind of time capsule, but the car is filled with concrete so you can't get at it. Not that people haven't tried.

It's not California itself. It's all the people that keep moving up here from California and crowding up the place. Damn Californians and their poor driving anyway!
