IT'S SUPER CELEBRITY SHOWDOWN TIME
Aug. 18th, 2004 01:37 amHooray for insomnia! Now I get to play WHAT FAMOUS PERSON DO YOU VAGUELY RESEMBLE thanks to some very expensive British computer!
So first I tried it and it said I look JUST LIEK HUGH JACKMANS!!1 Also, GERARD FRENCH DUDE!!!!1 and WYCLEF!!!!! JEAN!! Of those I would say sadly that Mr. Gerard French Dude is the closest match, if only because we both have heads shaped like potatoes.
Then I decided to see what it'd say for MR ABBIE THE CATS and the first result is very very surprising indeed -- but all the more hilarious to think about. And maybe the third one is amusing, too, in a very scary I AM GOING TO EAT YOUR FOOD NOW sort of way.
And then I decided to cast
CAT TOWN: THE MOVIE

STARRING AL PACINO

JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT

LIAM NEESON

UMA THURMAN

JACKIE CHAN

ASHTON KUTCHER

JOAQUIN PHOENIX

TAYE DIGGS

ISABELLE ADJANI

AND SPECIAL GUEST STARS BRAD PITT AND JOHN MALKOVICH AS THE EASILY STARTLED CATS
DJ Hand Puppet was some sport-playing fellow so I think he'll only get a cameo in the film.
As you can see the results were vaguely... eerie. (Even if I exercised casting privilege and opted for the Second Choice on at least one of the cast members.) And with lots of JPEG artifacts, though I swear that's the site's fault.

Date: 2004-08-18 02:08 am (UTC)Pity you can't send this to their agents. Well, you could, but I doubt they'd look at it or find it funny, as Hollywood agents don't seem to be the wacky sense of humor types.

Date: 2004-08-18 03:43 am (UTC)I dig the way the lamb cat and Jackie Chan have the same kind of smile -- though from a character perspective it's not a very good choice, as Jackie Chan has to be the good guy. Then again, Al Pacino's not known for his polarized Good Guy roles, either, so perhaps this film version is one of those gritty "re-imaginings" which blurs the line between good and bad. I mean, could you imagine El Guapo as a brooding antihero? Oh me oh my...
