in which we ask the burning questions
Feb. 9th, 2005 02:59 am...why the hell is there a bulldozer pushing clumps of snow down the street outside at 3 AM, and why is its backup beeping louder than a car horn?
Let's hear it for the City of Somerville.

Date: 2005-02-09 02:46 pm (UTC)Where in Somerville do you live? We didn't get any bulldozers. Ever. I feel so deprived.

Date: 2005-02-09 03:46 pm (UTC)I actually complained to the city the other day about the fact that the snow-emergency sides of the streets (you know, the ones that we need to move our cars from during a snow emergency, so they can plow?) hadn't really been plowed, and that ironically, the only available parking places were on the non-snow-emergency sides of the streets, where the cars had been parked. I wonder if I had any effect on this action...but I swear, I never said, "And oh, by the way, could you attempt to fix this at 3am, waking up me and all of my neighbors? Because that would be swell."
