I'm still working on the Q/A game, but here's an interesting trivia question for you. I'm willing to bet I know at least one person who'll get the first part, no prob.

The parking lot at the Meadow Glen Mall in Medford is separated into sections, each section named for a classic 20th century celebrity: Astaire, Bogart, Cagney, so forth and so on. Why?

And for 250 bonus points, which celebrity's name is misspelled?

i was just looking at stuff about this today, too...

the meadow glen mall was once the home of a drive-in, called (surprise!) the meadow glen drive-in. when the drive-in got torn down for the mall, the developers named the parking areas for movie stars as a tribute to its former incarnation.

(another drive-in, called the medford drive-in, was located across from the wellington t station...where a certain friend works now, in fact.)

Thanks for sharing this. I learned something new today! I always thought it was because
the initials of the mall spelled MGM, which was a major Hollywood motion picture studio.
