I'm flipping through my four network channels tonight and I notice ABC is showing some film featuring a very blue Paul Giamatti. I have no idea what's going on. I check Zap2It for TV listings and...

...well, they're telling me ABC is supposedly showing Reign of Fire tonight:

A hotshot American and a firefighter unite to fight a horde of dragons in post-apocalyptic London.

Yeah, somehow I don't think ABC is playing that film tonight.

(Turns out the Giamatti flick is Big Fat Liar which I vaguely remember hearing about when it came out cause it involved Frankie Muniz too. And there he is, on my screen.)

Shame, it sounds like a pretty good film.

Where by "pretty good" I mean "utterly godawful, but with some big explosions and that's probably fun to laugh at if the dialogue gets too bad."

Also, I remember the TV spots for Big Fat Liar. At that point I was thinking, "It's all downhill from here for Pig Vomit." Kudos to him for proving me very wrong.
