Moving this weekend is going to be a stressful ball of heartburn par excellence. For one, I'm occupying Person A's vacated room. No problem, only Person A is unable to move out this weekend, because Person B, whose apartment she's replacing, hasn't moved out yet.

Oh. Uh.

Well, as long as me and los gatos have a place to sleep, and can put the boxes and furniture frames in the basement, everything else will fill in later. Right?

And then there's the second problem. All this time at $NEWJOB, we've been told July 31st is our schedule switchover date. My new schedule is from Tuesday to Saturday, so I've been planning my move around the impromptu three-day weekend.

Only today, at the beginning of our shift, we were informed that we'd be back in the training room for one more week's worth of practice, and this means our schedule's not going to change over this week.

Aw, man.

Black cat, as they say, not happy.

On the plus side, however cryptic, thirty-nine never looked so good.

You are paying rent in the new place and therefore I really think Person A should move their stuff to the basement and sleep in the couch while they are trying to move into place B. That way only ONE of you has to be disrupted. But I'm all about logistics. Person A isn't trying to coordinate themselves, their stuff and two additional live beings.

Admitedly, but person A still has to move out and doesn't sound prepared to do that on time. Her problem is not your problem. Admitedly, it's nice to be considerate, and the whole thing sucks. But she's not being considerate of you, either. Just passing along the whole discourtesy thing.

It's hard to force someone to move their stuff, though. When I've been in Rob's position in the past, person A compensated me for the time I wasn't able to actually move into the room. (And in this case, B should compensate A, so A shouldn't actually be out any cash.)

Sure. No, and I don't mean to be rude about it. And there is probably no better solution, mostly I'm just on Rob's side and want him to know it.

Of course, as am I. Well, I'm on the side of Light, anyway.

But mostly I wanted to clarify (regarding your "paying rent" comment) that Rob won't be paying rent until he actually has the *room*.
