I want to go to Durgin Park.
There's nobody visiting from out of town, no. I just want to go.

Someone please go with me so I don't feel like a complete rube, waiting by the stairwell for a seat at the long tables.

Durgin Park is the "traditional" restaurant in Quincy Market. Like the Duck Tours, it's usually only something Boston locals do when they got outtatownahs visiting. You sit at long communal tables and crazy people who go on to be Cribbage Mistresses (I'm lookin' at you, k-ro) serve you and stuff. I usually get the boiled frankfurters and brown bread and Indian pudding when I go. That kinda stuff.

So yes, you want to go. I'm inviting you to invite yourself along.

And I've never been on a Duck Tour either. I haven't really been visited by too many out-of-town folk, I guess. But I wasn't even aware thst Durgin Park was on the to do list... the Ducks I knew about.
