The Gilbreth Memorial Morse Code Cadence Mnemonic (or "ah-HA", as we've discussed in comments) is finished! I hit upon the answer to J while endlessly drumming .--- and now my finger hurts. There are big ups and major props and shout-outs to you super creative people who helped me out with some of the letters. Let's all learn Morse Code, go out for dinner, and annoy the waitstaff with silverware tapping! HERE WE GO:

wi-NO-NA?
Who pronounces it that way? I've always said "wiNOna" which would be R.
Wonderful idea, but I think the choices still need some work.

seems to me the second half of
your post is missing boss the
part where you suggested a great

Fair enough. Hmm... how about "we DON'T CARE!" There are other ways to stress the sentence, but that way is at least valid.

er, I guess they should all be Ws - maybe "we WON'T WAIT!"?

I think this has to be "we WON'T WORK!" And it has to be chanted with placards while shoving around scabs.

Yeah. Chanting is really necessary to make some of these metrical enough.

Well, this is the primary reason I didn't respond to the previous post. While I don't have a quibble with wi-NO-NA, I do with F, J, and Y, which I am likely to misremember as ..--, .-.., and -..-, respectively, especially Y. I simply didn't have any constructive alternatives to offer.

But let me try my hand at it: For ..-. I might suggest "full of Feelings" or "flight of Fancy" — though both run the risk of being interpreted as -.-. instead. For .--- I might suggest the gut-wrenching "Jedi Jar-Jar," as horrible as the idea is. And for -.-- I would suggest "Yummy Yum Yum."

Now a question I've been curious about. These mnemonic devises are great, but how does one tell when one letter ends and the next begins? Or a word? A sentence?

"Jedi Jar-Jar" is "-.--" not ".---". How about "Jerome just jumps"?
