The best street name ever is Puppy Smith Street. It's a small side street in Aspen. I have no idea who the hell Puppy Smith was, but I am so positive it couldn't have been anybody but a cranky old prospector. Who had a lot of dogs. And found a silver lode or something.

Google didn't turn up anything right off the bat, and I am apprehensive about delving deeper in so as to not ruin the mystique that is Puppy Smith Street.

Okay, now I want to live in Aspen on Puppy Smith Street.

It would beat living in Nashville, IN on Greasy Creek Road. Or Scarce O Fat Ridge Road, my other favorite out that way.

In the 80's I lived on Weesuck Ave. in East Quogue, NY.

It was hysterical. The locals didn't seem to put two-and-two together, but their children certainly did. The second "E" was often spray painted out and a favorite Halloween prank was to steal the sign. We lived there less than two years and in my mind the sign was only up a third of the time.

True story: I was a Long Island hardcore basement show in Port Jefferson (not near EQ) in the mid-90s and the kid had a Weesuck Ave sign on the wall.

I am pretty sure that a Puppysmith is a master craftsman on the payroll of Cruella de Vil.

I'm just imagining hammered-steel dogs being created from a fiery forge.

I enjoyed Crazy Cove, located somewhere on the shore of Lake Erie, I believe.

Ragged Ass Road is my favourite street name of all time. Yes indeed, it exists.

I'm happy knowing that, when the mood takes me, I can stroll along The Land of Green Ginger.

My favorite street is Bacon Switch Road in Wichita Falls, Texas. Always makes me hungry for bacon. Mmm...bacon!
