I'd like to welcome you back to 2001, when a young renegade Flash animator taught us all how to laugh at love... again... with a little ditty called Hyakugojyuuichi, a powerful first work which masterfully welds together a Japanese Pokemon theme song with more unfathomable imagery than you could shake Hieronymous Bosch at.

The rest of Neil Cicierega's oeuvre can be rediscovered and enjoyed anew at Animutation Central.

I'm Jack Perkins.

I've become quite fond of his musical noodlings as Lemon Demon (http://www.eviltrailmix.com/lemondemon/). Very TMBG-esque.

Seconded. I got both of his CDs (his first one includes his first 3 albums. Woot), and I'm looking forward to Dinosaurchestra. He's as good when he's coherent as when he isn't.

The 5-year birthday of Hyakugojyuuichi wasn't that long ago. Ahh, the memories. Neil has a LJ, too - [livejournal.com profile] trapezzoid. :)

The MST3K juice has been cranked up of late. I like.
