I'm pretty sure that's the Man In Black singing his best phonetic German. Rock & roll caught on pretty big in West Germany, and it wasn't uncommon for English-singing artists to record German-language versions of their songs for the public consumption. The Beatles spent quite a bit of the early 1960s playing clubs in Hamburg's red-light district, even going back and forth during their up-and-coming Cavern Club days and cutting a few German singles. You can find the German-language "Sie liebt dich" and "Komm gib mir deine Hand" around on some compilations or even *gasp* online if you look hard enough.

Heck, even Petula Clark got in on the act.
