I cropped Jon out of the last panel (his line is "It's going to be one of those weeks") and closed the panel up nicely, but unfortunately black and white line art doesn't scale down very well so I can't fit it to 100 LJ-friendly pixels.
But still.
Yeah.

Date: 2006-05-07 05:27 am (UTC)I have a hard time hatin' on Garfield. I was an absolute Garfield FIEND when I was a kid. I won't defend what the strip became after it turned into a merchandising machine, but back in the day, it was pretty darn entertaining. And actually, even today, there are enough strips that are moderately entertaining (like this one—that snowman cracks me up) or just plain weird (like this one and this one) that I don't hate myself for taking the time to read it. But then again, the out-and-out weirdness of the series that began with this strip bought Garfield a lot of good will with me.
And come on, what are ya gonna do, read "Hi and Lois?" Seriously.
