ABC said it considered canceling [8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter], but decided to stick with it because it's what Ritter, who died last week at the age of 54 of an undetected heart problem, would have wanted.
Yeah, well, pardon me for being so impertinent, ABC, but I bet what Ritter would have wanted was to have lived.

Oh, aren't we just a wee bit CN today. I think it's something to do with low blood sugar.

I don't know...I think that if those who knew Ritter best (I mean his wife and family, not the ABC folk) think that, if he had to die, that he would have wanted the show to go on, then there is a good chance that he did. If it were me and I were in the middle of an ongoing project and I kicked, I think I'd want the project to be finished.

I also think that Bobby Bonds would've wanted Barry to get back to playing baseball as soon as possible too.

Anyway. Good joke, though.
