I like ordering out from East Asia in Powderhouse Square because A. it's cheap, B. the food is good and 3. the driver guy is FAST. I mean, super fast. Last time I ordered from East Asia, I did so at something like 7:41 pm. By 7:50, the food had arrived. That's like nine minutes from "I'd like to place an order for delivery" to "Hello yes I did order from you guys" and that includes the time it took to spell out my street name over the phone twice and beg for no bean sprouts on the tofu pad thai. I gave a big honkin "Even tho you guys are like a half mile away, you rock" tip.

Tonight I ordered at 8:50. HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE? OH THE EXCITEMENT IS PALPABLE HERE AT THE HALL OF JUSTICE

I do this too; I got it from my husband. I remember thinking that it was odd when I first heard him do it, but now it seems so reasonable. It states right up front what it is that you're calling for. Do you guys also say "I'd like to order for pickup" if that's what you're ordering for? Same logic seems to apply there.
