I'm not gonna talk about being sick, or crashing for extended periods of time, or the lovely panic attack in the middle of Davis last night (brought on by screaming babies, hello screaming babies how I love thee) but I am going to mention that a review of the embarrassingly middle-of-the-road You, Me & Dupree that I read this morning mentioned that Owen Wilson's character in this movie is pretty much his character Dignan from Bottle Rocket, but 10 years later.

This is distressing because it means that Bottle Rocket is 10 years old.

I love Bottle Rocket. I always thought Wilson's character in Shanghai Noon was Dignan's ancient ancestor.

Dignan's 20-year-plan to become a master criminal more than makes up for the weak love subplot in the film.

It should not surprise you that someone on the Internet has gone and transcribed Dignan's notebook, with colors and everything.

No word on the list of things Dignan's not supposed to touch, though.
