[livejournal.com profile] coconuthead has reminded me that Monday is Patriot Day! How awesome is that? To celebrate, all you'll need to do is kick a 33-yard field goal in a snowstorm to WIN THE GAME after a convict on work-release clears a path for you on a riding snowblower.

While you practice your kicking, here are two new photo sets to look at!

Shiny Davis Escalator Steps I LIKE ESCALATORS
Dan Graubaskas can bite me. Here are escalator pictures.
I took most of them last night when I was GOING TO GET MY MEDICATION!
Why, no I did not. ROCKIN' AT THE STOP & SHOP
Gonna take pictures at the Stop & Shop with the radio on.
I'm in love with Massachusetts and the neon when it's cold outside.

Okay, that's it for now.

Ooooh! Can I practice my kicking on Monday on all of the terrorism tourists in my neck of the woods?

(Me = work 2 blocks from the WTC site. Bleh.)

After reviewing the Stop & Shop pictures (by the way, which one do you go to?) I must protest that pepper jelly is wonderful. Get a block of cream cheese, drizzle pepper jelly on it, and spread bits of both on crackers, and you will eat ten million of them while waiting for Thanksgiving Dinner and completely ruin your appetite. Mmmmmmm.

It doesn't have to be hot, though. My landlady makes sweet red pepper jam that is not quite as sweet as your standard strawberry jam, but it's close.

... I'd like to make a batch of hot pepper jam, now...

Don't forget - the long snapper has to do snow angels in the end zone, even indoors on astroturf.

Is "iron brew" flavored like something or is it just carbonated sugar water?

Coffee gelatin? Like jell-o style gelatin? I'd try that.

I wonder why I didn't see any in Dublin.

I kicked a 30-yard FG last weekend, btw. Surprised me that the kick was so good. But then, it wasn't in the snow, and I didn't have defenders rushing at me to try to block it.

Bear Naked granola is the best granola I've ever eaten. It doesn't taste like crdboard, unlike other granolas. THe regular fruit and nut has cranberries in it. Don't try the apple cinnamon unless you're willing to add honey; it's a little drier-tasting than the other varieties.

You can get packs from Amazon grocery for pretty cheap, if you're a fan like me.

I feel sad for the grumpy elephant and especially the worried tiger.
