HIGHWAY TO THE DANGER ZONE
Oct. 11th, 2003 04:04 pmAm wondering if there was a F-15 flyby scheduled for the start of today's Sox-Yankees game here in the land of Friendly Fenway cause I just had Maverick buzz my house with a hearty sonic boom, sending at least one cat scrambling for cover (Martha, oddly enough, seems to have slept through it. I don't think Abbie will stop panting with his mouth open for a few more minutes.)
I was also kind of hoping that the plane would do something great to the television reception around here so that I could finally pull in Fox 25 on my aerial, but sadly that was not to be. It's just as well, though; in an hour or so I'm leaving for my high school 10th reunion. I have absolutely no idea who's going to be there, but it's an informal deal held in a bar in Amherst so it can't be all that bad. And I can listen to the game on AM radio while driving out.
