These were taken at the Cambridge Hyatt Regency hotel this weekend while I was attending the Arisia sci-fi con. The first picture is of the glass elevators in the main atrium, festooned with lights above and below each car, and they're a lot of fun to watch. I presume they'd be a lot of fun to ride as well, but I had no reason to ride 'em and plenty of other folks did.

Apparently, the elevators are pretty fragile. There were notices pasted up everywhere that no more than 7 people should ride them at a time.
