Today's best (and probably only) Timbuk 3 ref drop goes to Boston Police Department News blog for its brilliant headline (admittedly with a typo) for a story involving a thwarted robbery:

Seriously, if you haven't put the bpdnews feed on your friends list, you gotta. Sure, there's a lotta depresso in there about gunshots and murders, but you also get stories with headlines like that. Or the story of the fellow parked alone in his car in the middle of the night who, when approached by police inquiring as to what he was doing, casually answered "Oh, just smoking a blunt."

One of my frustrations with the Press & Dakotan's daily record is that it nearly always leaves me with questions. This tells more of the story, which is nice.

It amuses me that quarters are classified as dangerous weapons, though.
