[Mr. Spatch]: the cat is eating his own vomit. I am torn as to what to do.
[Mr. Spatch]: On the one hand, ew.
[Mr. Spatch]: On the other hand, it'll save me a bit of cleanin up.
[Ms. Biscuit]: Yeah, I regard that as part of the great cycle of nature, myself. Hakuna matata.
[Ms. Biscuit]: IT'S THE CIIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRCLLLLLLLLLLLLLE
[Ms. Biscuit]: THE CIRCLE OF LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIFE
[Mr. Spatch]: I am gonna put this up on the Intar Web for people to read
[Mr. Spatch]: *wipes tear from eye*
[Ms. Biscuit]: That makes me make with the smiley.

Too bad that cats don't eat hairballs.

Thank you. Would you like some key lime pie with that?

My cat does not eat hairballs, but she does play with them if they get dried up before I can clean them up.

See, you THINK this is a good idea until the cycle continues with the mondo-huge puke on your pillow because your cat just ate his own puke.

Do NOT ask me about my morning!

I don't know if that's more disgusting than when my cats eat each other's barf, or less.

Perhaps the "awwww how sweet, they're sharing!" factor means it's more disgusting when they eat their own.

We have the perfect combo: the puker, and the puke eater. The latter will gallop into a recently blessed room and shoulder the former out of the way so he can get to the goodies while it is still warm.

I've got the same. I only wish that the puke eater would finish the job. She eats a majority of the puke byt always leaves a little somethin' for me to clean up.

Ah. Thankfully our puke eater is very, very efficient, provided he can get to the action when it is fresh.

It can be a little hard to take when viewed from the breakfast table first thing in the morning.

Oh, I'm sure. We have three cats and I'm familiar with most of the disgusting things they manage to do. Which is why it's so funny, because this time, it's not my cats.

It has just occurred to me that despite Sifl's voracious appetite, he has failed to ever gorge himself on Juno's puke. I'm not sure if I should be happy about that or despondent.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who lets her cats clean up after themselves.

Cats, however, rarely if ever eat poo.

I knew a dog who helped keep the litter box clean by partaking of what his owner delicately called "Kitty-cat Roca."

Our cat goes through bulemic periods of mewling for food, eating it all in a gulp and then throwing it up. She invariably does this on the carpet, not the lino, but she does at least usually choose the rug on top of the carpet rather than the carpet itself.
