Would someone be so kind as to go back to "Alias Smith & Jones" and see if there was any sound effect playing when Martha Jones was trying to listen to Mr. Smith's heart?

Just wondering.

The only sound effect I remember was just the sound of the one heart echoing the other--nothing like the "drums" rhythm, I don't think, if that's what you mean.

All I hear are pumpy heart sounds. She listens to one heart, and then the other.

The rhythm of the first heart is different than the Master drums - more of a thump da-thump thump than the Master's thump thump thump THUMP. The second heart is more of a plain thump-thump sound.

Ah, cool. Thanks for taking a listen. Once someone pointed out to me the "Magpie Electronics" on the back of Martha's TV set in the first part of the finale (and a screencap of her mobile display with the Archangel logo in 42) I went "Huh. Wonder what a time lord's collection o' hearts would sound like."
