One of the settings in Guitar Hero 3 is the "video shoot" setting, in which your band performs in a soundstage on the back of a flatbed truck (powered by an automobile sponsor) with fake moving scenery behind you to make it appear as if you're rockin' on down the road. Okay, that's all well and good, but:
  1. This is nowhere near a live setting, so why are there crowd noises?
  2. And don't most bands lip-sync video shoots like this?
THIS BLATANT AND OUTRAGEOUS DISCREPANCY HAS CAUSED THE GAME TO LOSE ALL CREDIBILITY IN MY EYES. EVERY OTHER PART OF THE GAME RINGS TRUE; I MEAN, WE ALL KNOW THAT ROCK BANDS ARE CONSTANTLY GETTING INTO GUITAR BATTLES AGAINST THE DEVIL IN HELL, BUT CROWD SOUNDS DURING AN UNNECESSARY LIVE PERFORMANCE IN A CLEARLY EMPTY SOUNDSTAGE? POOR DESIGN, REDOCTANE. YOU'VE LOST NOT ONLY YOUR TOUCH BUT MY WILLING SUSPENSION OF DISBELIEF AS WELL.
