Voice: gone

When you work in a phone-based field of expertise, this is NOT A GOOD THING.

Dammit.

This one time at AT&T camp, they made me work on the phones anyway even though I had literally no voice at all. 50% of my callers hung up. 25% pretended they didn't notice. 25% expressed outrage and shock that AT&T would make me work when I was sick. (I was too new to call in sick.)

It was a good day. All the callers were nice to me.
