Man, I've found FoF to be super annoying. Though I can imagine that if you're doing your own song editing, it's better.

Yeah, the note charts for the songs that came with the game were a little annoying, and the in-game editor has terrible UI (and the current beta release is unstable as all hell) but any port in a storm, ay?

I'm trying to make things EASY and FUN and already have found spots in the Boingers song where I can change the difficulty. It's interesting getting note chart theory stuck in my head, that's for sure.

Also: Orleans has Rock Band Sundays. This must happen at some point.

I just play Phase, on account of I don't have all the GH stuff to play with, and "Moonshiner's Daughter" is really fun for that sort of thing.

Phase is an interesting variant. Of course the PC version is Audiosurf, which in turn borrows from Amplitude and Frequency...

the ability to use your own songs, though, is awesome amazing.
