Serendipity! The Music Man has been on all this morning. IT'S LIKE THEY WAS READING MY MIND FROM LAST WEEK AND SAID OK IF THE GUY WANTS SHIPOOPI, GIVE HIM SHIPOOPI GOSHDARNIT.

Yes, you can have movies on DVD, and you can watch things whenever you want, but there's still that simple bit of joy you get when you turn on the TV and oh hey presto there's just what you were thinkin of! (Ye gods!) That kinda tiny twinge will never ever ever go away. From me, at least.

I finally saw Music Man, sadly on DVD, while I was on vacation. Still can't stop singing Shipoopi, and now we're also saying "ye gods" all over the place!
