Yeah, we got ourselves a copy of the full creator. Timmy (suction cup kitty) is currently undergoing rebuilding because something weird happened to his head and it moves strangely when he walks around. I don't know.

Yeah, that was a great waste of money I was happy to opt-out. Enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing that your purchase is backed up (yeah, backed up?) for... what? How long? I can't even say EA took a cue from Ticketmaster here as at least EA purports to offer a service, as opposed to Ticketmaster's "convenience fees" (which not only are a percentage of the cost of the ticket, but scaled so that they get a higher percentage of lower-priced tix.)

Good times, EA! Good times! Nobody knows how fileserving works, but everybody's keen on "insurance"! You pulled a fast one on us!

It's especially pleasant when one's relationship with a company begins with their attempting to rip you off in the very first transaction. But I'm sure that they made a fast $60,000 off of folks who didn't realize it was an option instead of a normal bit of billing creep.
