Where does one get a pair of red/blue 3D glasses when there are no 3D movies around? This conundrum is puzzling me because I'd sure like a pair.

You could ask your friends who subscribe to TV Guide (that included a pair last week) to hand them over.

I've got an extra pair that came in a recent magazine. Send me your address and I'll mail them to you.

Dude, there's a pair on my kitchen table. I just got them in a promotional mailing from JupiterImages. Want 'em?

Your local neighborhood supermarket might have several pairs lying around for grabbing in conjunction with the Hannah Montana concert last Saturday night. Unless you can't bear to be seen wearing Hannah Montana 3D glasses.

I also have a pair or two lying about, I'm sure, if you want to wait a couple of days--but seriously, your local supermarket or megamarket should have bunches left over.

Back in the day when they were even harder to come by (unless you subscribed to Dynamite! I made a pair using cardstock, gels, and a stapler. They actually worked pretty well.

(Apparently the Hannah Montana 3-D glasses are exclusive to Wal-Mart, which just happens to be the closest grocery store to home. I'll see if I can pick up a pair for you, as you'd have to go to Lynn or Quincy to get some)

EDIT: The kind I have lying around were for Sin City 3-D Spy Kids, so you're not gonna get an unbranded version in any case.

EDIT 2: The link to the collection of Dynamite! covers is blocked at work as "pornography." Mmm. Kristy McNichol.

If you get stuck ... comic book store! Just find some cheapo 3D comic that still has a pair inside.

Aw. C'mon. (I think a close-up shot of you wearing Hannah Montana 3D glasses would make a fabulous user icon. [nodnodnod])

Check out the comic book section of the bookstore. There are a lot of 3D comic books that come with them. Or you can try Newbury Comics, I'm betting they'll have some. Like these with a drawing kit or these with a drawing pad.

They're white on ONE side--you could wear them inside out and Miley Cyrus would look farther away.

Are you watching "Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective?"
