Hello, my new 4th gen friend.

We are currently at the "I am flipping the screen around and around and around and around just to watch it do its thing" stage of Ooh Shiny. There are always several Ooh Shiny stages with a new toy. First stage for this was "Oh now doesn't Apple play the Presentation Game well with its packaging! Look, it comes in its own little plastic iPod house!"

Already I have half-filled the 8GB model, thus ensuring that should I ever have a craving to watch drive-in movie intermission trailers while on the T, I am now well and duly empowered to do so.

Technology's a wonderful thing, Sam.

My wife won one of these via a weird little marketing survey from our main distributor that she forgot filling out. I was all "I'm not going to do it. I refuse to try and keep buying a new iPod everyone one to one and a half years..I'm going to run my 3rd gen into the ground.

Then she showed me how it had tilt sensors, and you could download games for it that took advantage of that.

DAMNIT!!!

(I suppose I can just steal hers for the purpose...)
